Leading a global Yard Sale – one t-shirt at a time.

100% of profits will be donated to charity.

Yard Sale Apparel was founded by Colgate University hockey commit, Bobby Metz in the spring of 2021. Growing up in the game of hockey, Bobby is acutely aware of the accessibility challenges and lack of diversity in the sport. Yard Sale was founded to make a difference.

Yard Sale Apparel is focused on supporting equality in sports and sparking conversations around inequity and accessibility. We believe that it is time for a yard sale – out with our preconceived beliefs, and in with understanding and awareness that can only be brought on through education, conversation, and acceptance of our individual blind spots.

100% of profits will be donated to charities that focus on supporting grass roots causes and accessibility in sport.

Bobby Metz has been chasing his dreams of playing hockey professionally since he first laced up a pair of skates at 4 years old. He is committed to play Division 1 hockey at Colgate University and has played for some of the most elite hockey programs in the country including Honeybaked, Compuware and Salisbury School.

Over the summer of 2020, he witnessed some pretty horrific events that forced him to realize the prejudice and hatred that still exists in the world – especially towards POC in America. Growing up playing sports, Bobby has witnessed inequality, bias, and accessibility issues first-hand. He founded Yard Sale Apparel, determined to make a difference. He will be donating 100% of all profits to support grass roots causes and accessibility in sport.
